I stayed at the AC for a work trip and was genuinely impressed. The room was extremely comfortable, clean, and perfect for resting after long days. The lobby is modern, cozy, and a great place to unwind — the whole space has a really welcoming feel.||But the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service and care from the staff, especially Ciara. She went above and beyond to help me with a reservation issue, and when I became sick during my stay, she checked in on me, helped me extend my room with ease, and even brought me medicine and water. Her kindness truly made all the difference.||Overall, a wonderful experience. Comfortable rooms, a beautiful lobby, and genuinely caring staff. Highly recommend.

I stayed three nights at AC Hotel Downtown Washington, D.C. while attending a conference, and overall I left thinking this property has strong potential. The hotel feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed in many ways—but a few comfort and service gaps made the stay more frustrating than it needed to be. What I really liked Cleanliness and finishes: The room felt clean and well-kept. I liked the upholstery, chairs, bed comfort, lighting, and the overall “solid” feel of the furnishings. Lobby and atmosphere: The lobby/bar/entrance area has attractive architecture and a nice look and feel. Security: Requiring a key card to access the elevators felt like a good safety feature. Our stay was exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel’s prime location near the White House made sightseeing effortless, and the lobby is beautifully appointed — elegant, inviting, and impressive upon arrival. Breakfast each morning was a pleasure, largely due to Alondria’s outstanding service. She was poised, attentive, and genuinely warm. We are especially grateful for her kindness in allowing my diabetic mother to eat from the breakfast bar just as service was concluding. Her compassion and understanding in that moment spoke volumes about her character and professionalism. It is rare to encounter service that leaves such a lasting impression.
