AC Hotel Savannah Historic District

I meant to write this review months ago. Time flies. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. This location was wonderful. The front of the hotel faced the water. The back lead you to stores and resturants near town. Walkability was excellent. The modern rooms were a good size. Clean with good amenities. The front desk clerk Brittany, was very kind. There were numerous times I came to the front desk and through the lobby. She always communicated with a smile. I noticed she was kind and professional to other guests as well. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing choice for our stay in Savannah. We booked the hotel expecting a true river view, but what we received was only a partial and fairly mediocre view. It did not align with what we anticipated when making the reservation. Upon arrival, there was toilet paper already in the bathroom bin, which immediately raised concerns about the thoroughness of housekeeping. I called the front desk to report it, but I’m not confident anything was actually addressed. Throughout the stay, housekeeping was acceptable but not detailed. As someone who leaves a tip daily, I do expect a higher standard of care and attention. Valet is $50 per night, with the alternative being parking about a block and a half away. I opted for valet for convenience, but even that was not sea

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. I want to give special recognition to the front desk team, who truly made my experience exceptional. Shamaree, Nettie, and Quiencey were outstanding, welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. The cleanliness of the hotel is top-tier. Everything—from the rooms to the common areas—was spotless and well maintained. The location is perfect, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. I will always choose this hotel when I’m in the area and highly recommend it to others.

As a frequent business traveler to The AC Marriott Savannah hotel I must say the level of customer service has been consistent. I would like to highlight Nettie, and Quincy; two of the front desk attendants. There has never been a time where I have not received above standard service from either of them. There flexibility and willingness to accommodate customer requests makes me feel valued, however when I see the same level of customer service extended to all the guests It further emerges my great experience. The hotel is Clean! Yes, clean. High dusting/ low dusting, vents in rooms, bed sheets. I have seen a washcloth with a dryer burn mark once at the start of my stay. However, they brought new towels up asap. Beds are comfortable, rooms contain noise so you are not disturbed as a slee
