AC Hotel Houston Downtown

Stayed here for a work trip and it was really convenient. Check-in was smooth, staff was professional and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable — perfect for catching up on emails or relaxing after meetings. Location is great, close to restaurants and easy to get around the city. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which made getting work done hassle-free. Overall, a solid spot for business travelers who want a stress-free stay in Miami. Would definitely book again next time I’m in town.

I will definitely return to this hotel as it was in the heart of everything. The best bars/restaurants were walking distance from each other. Minus the homeless in the area, my stay was great. Coming from nyc, it was pretty quiet in the area. Maybe because it was weekday, but either way the hotel was perfect and worth the stay and value. I love how the starbucks opens super early and the staff there is beyond AMAZING. The front desk staff needs to learn from them. They seemed either over worked or doing the bare minimum with customer service so nobody will complain. Also it was not mentioned to me until the day of arrival about a $50 per day accidental fee. Hotels are usually good for fine print like that, however that needs to be communicated more LOUDLY. Otherwise, no complaints on my

So the check in was great, and the rooms are fine as well. But you go down for breakfast and they let you rummage around for anything hot (eggs, bacon, or anything you’d want that isn’t there. Very continental) and then when you suffice for the toast and croissant they come to your table and ask for your room number. Turns out breakfast is almost $40 for two people and not included. Had I known I wouldn’t have gotten a plate. But now I am stuck with a woman telling me it is $40 for the breakfast I have in front of me and no, bacon or eggs aren’t available. But maybe they are coming? Who knows. I watched her tell this to five other guests AFTER they got food. All of whom seemed upset by the information lol. Be warned- don’t go for the breakfast. It’s not what you think.

Austin at the front desk was AMAZING. From the moment we arrived, he was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. He was so accommodating and genuinely excited for us, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. Maria from housekeeping was also wonderful—so sweet, professional, and thoughtful.
