42 Hotel

I had reservations for yesterday Jan 30 until 31st, I booked my room on the 29th without cancelation insurance, because I definitely was going to stay at the hotel.Unfortunately, I recieved bad news that morning about a family member passing and had to cancel. Initially I was told that I could not get a refund and it was a cancelation fee. But the next evening they reimbursed me the full cost.I truly appreciate there gratitude because I know they do have a policy and I will be visiting soon‼️

A hotel that looks very nice. Clean rooms. Nothing to say about that. However, our reservation for four people included four breakfasts per day for the entire stay. When we arrived, we were told that only two of us would have access to breakfast, and that it would cost $15 per person. We accepted this. So we ate for less than $15 per person per day (two people). When we left the hotel, they charged us for all of these costs, which should have been included in the reservation. They offered to email me after discussing it with the bar manager, but I never received an email from them... This hotel is run by dishonest people, and I strongly advise against staying there if you don't want to waste your money.

Let me preface this, last year my husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and loved it so much we came back this year. Okay upon arriving, front attendant was very lax and wasn’t super customer service oriented. We get to our room and it is dirty. Seems like housekeeping did the bare minimum. Toilet was dirty, dirty socks from previous guests, and dried flowers behind door and under bed. I go to front desk and he moves us immediately to the next door room. Okay, the room was also still dirty, and fridge doesn’t work. Bathroom was again dirty and why do I have to clean someone’s leftover fecal matter. Floor is sandy, and again housekeeping didn’t move furniture to clean. The head board is dirty and you see finger marks from guests prior. Upon check out I go to speak to front

Got charged extra on our last day with no explanation. Receptionist told me the manager would call us back to process the refund as we were heading to the airport. Never heard of them again. Tried to call multiple times and they'd leave me on hold forever and just hung up out of nowhere. Just disgraceful! I'm sure you can find better but if you have to go there be mindful of your transactions.
