Yuma River Front KOA Journey

My husband and I and our two pups made an impromptu decision to head to Yuma during our 2 month tour of the west. We chose your KOA because we have been a member of the KOA camp grounds for many years and have never had a bad stay. |Your assistant to the manager greeted us when we arrived and was very pleasant. She also checked in with us the next day. |We did not realize there was no pet area set up yet, but made do walking our pups to a dirt area and also letting them sit out with us in their pen. | This afternoon the manager came by and told us we could not have the pen set up because the pipes were close to the surface. While that seemed strange , we looked on your site and saw this was a rule. |We also noted that our neighbor had spikes driven in the ground for their outdoor spa

Staff is friendly. Club House was huge. 2 super nice bathrooms. Nice clean laundry facilities. Next door to wetlands where you can bike and walk your dog until they are tired which is nice because doggie play area is really funny and small.

Right next to river and wonderful park, with trails, beach, great play structure. Fishing pond, and boat dock.

We love Riverfront RV. Walk out your door onto a wonderful wetlands walking areas. You can walk all day. It is also great for bird lovers.

Awesome park. There are really cool buildings and it is right next to the Colorado River! The African Daisy's and tomato plant were a nice touch. Unfortunately couldn't take my Toy Hauler here. Guess it's 55+. Would have been nice if there was a sign or notice before hand...
