Yavapai Lodge

I had an incredible stay at Yavapai Lodge! The lodge is beautifully situated with easy access to the Grand Canyon’s breathtaking views, and the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy, making it the perfect base for exploring the park. I especially appreciated the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to unwind after a day of hiking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and charming place to stay in the Grand Canyon area!

Very convenient location, if you are used to 4 star hotels it feels kind of grungey and old since it doesn't look like it's been updated in decades. There is a bit of a musty smell, but for the price the location is amazing. You are right in the center of everything you need to see/do and less than a 10 min drive from everything. The dining hall is a walk away and the travellers breakfast was pretty awesome all you can eat everything.

We throughly enjoyed our two night stay at Yavapai Lodge located inside the Grand Canyon National Park. They allow pets so we were able to travel with our dog rather than needing to board her. The Grand Canyon is awesome. We were there in January and . expected cooler weather but the temperature was surprisingly mild and quite pleasant. The lodge provided a perfect room with a comfortable bed for us plus a dog kennel for our pet. The only downside was WiFi was not available in the room, but it was available in the lodge. When I needed to connect to WiFi with my laptop, I simply went to the lodge and setup at one of the tables. Everything worked out! I highly recommend Yavapai Lodge if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time at the canyon.

The Yavapai Lodge is an excellent choice for a comfortable rest between hikes due to its location. It is situated conveniently near Canyon Village Market Plaza, just 0.6 miles from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, and 1 mile from the Rim Trail. The lodge's straightforward design, with 16 buildings and a main lodge surrounded by woodlands, offers a peaceful retreat after an active day of hiking. Additionally, the lodge provides amenities like free Wi-Fi, free parking, and air-conditioned rooms to ensure a relaxing stay.

Location can't be beat honestly. About 3 minute drive to get to the visitors center, and a short walk to the canyon. The lodge itself is lovely and the food is amazing, especially the breakfast buffet. It's a nice place to warm up on cold winter nights. The rooms leave something to be desired as they are outdated but I can't complain too much as the beds were fine and the shower was fine. It's one of the cheaper places to stay that close to the canyon.
