Highland Grand Canyon

Absolutely wonderful! A fantastic location, surrounded by nature. The tent is beautiful and super cozy. The best part was the heated blankets… I’ll never forget them 😁 The bathrooms are very clean and well-equipped (towels, body wash/shampoo, soap). We really appreciated the little mirror in the tent and the kettle for making tea. We would have gladly stayed more nights, just to enjoy the place even more. It takes about 10 minutes by car on a dirt road to get to the main street, but it’s more than worth it! It’s also very close to the Grand Canyon, so highly recommended. Fabienne is a very welcoming person, and it’s clear she loves what she does. Thanks again for everything, and I hope we’ll have the chance to come back!

Fantastic location for anyone looking to explore the Grand Canyon. Way more fun than staying in a typical hotel. The bed was extremely cozy and warm, and you could tell so much thought was put into the design and layout of the camp. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful, making for an all around great stay. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again!

We stayed at Highland for 1 night in October 2025 while doing a quick visit to the Grand Canyon. This site is only a few miles from the South Rim in the middle of the forest. The owner, Fabienne, lives on site and she was very helpful and friendly upon arrival and departure. There are only 5 tents on the site which makes for a very secluded and intimate feel to the place. Our tent (like a safari style tent) was well appointed with plenty of furniture and lights, a large, cozy bed that was very comfortable, and a generator to charge devices, heat the electric kettle in the morning, and warm the bed. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot. Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit the night we were there so we did not get to enjoy the firepit or the outdoor common space. We did have inte

Amazing location near Grand Canyon Village. Family of four had a great time and found that every detail was carefully thought out from heating pads to keep us warm during the night and double sleeping bags on the cots to provided, paper goods, cooking utensils, and community coolers to keep food fresh. King bed slept incredible! Tents and bathrooms immaculately clean. Warm water in bathrooms was a pleasant surprise. Surrounded by beautiful Ponderosa pine trees that smelled like vanilla and heard elk calling in the night. Host was welcoming, informative and attentive. Would book again! Perfect addition to our trip and a great memory.

What a place! To be so close to the rim of the Grand Canyon in the most beautiful nature setting with the kindest, most fun hosts...just dreamy! We felt so lucky to be on this wonderful family-owned property and staying in the coolest yurts with just the right amount of rustic and comfort (omg, the beds are the BEST). I can't say enough about how great the whole experience is at Highland. We can't wait to get back there!
