Wytheville Hotel

The night front desk lady was awesome! The house keeper knocked on my door at 8am and entered before answering before check out was even near. They did credit me $25 for that. It was dirty. Their septic is coming up the drain is smells bad. Very cheap for what you get

We were a little skeptical when we arrived and saw the exterior, however after inspecting the room we found it to be fine. The room was clean. The refrigerator had a small freezer compartment that we like. The wifi worked well and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was really very nice and the breakfast buffet was typical those in most motels. The one issue we had was with spiders. My wife was bitten, several times, during the night.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is not luxurious or glamorous or ultra modern so if that's what's your looking for, you might want to go elsewhere. That being said, clean, quiet, comfortable and very convenient are just some of the great things here. The internet works better than a lot of higher end places. Everything was well stocked. Add the very nice staff and great rates and this cannot be beat!

Wow; NOT A 2.5 star hotel when we stayed there in May 2025. We arrived late at night and were shown to our room by a man with bare feet. (I don’t actually have a problem with that, just letting you know as it could be quite off- putting for some guests) this was not the worst part. Dirty carpets and bathroom (the handrails in the bathroom were filthy on the underside/bottom). Dingy lighting in bathroom and minimal towels and linens. Bed was comfortable enough - to my surprise. We were told that breakfast was included; it turned out that most of it was broken (waffle maker) or “not available” Coffee was horrible- we went to a local cafe in town. If you’re looking for cheap and don’t have high standards, maybe this place could be for you. If you have higher standards, definitely let ok e

The location of the hotel is convenient and very close to the highway. The room was spacious, clean and smelled good. Bedsheets and towels were clean. Inside the room was very quiet. There was a fridge and a microwave. All the toiletries were provided. The staff was extremely nice. I arrived very late, past midnight and had no problem with checking in. Breakfast was really good and had a huge variety and was actively replenished when things ran out. I would stay here again on my trips.
