Comfort Inn Wytheville - Fort Chiswell

Very friendly staff and nice hotel in a good location. Even has a nice indoor pool. Great breakfast service and was a pleasure meeting Kim who helped both in the kitchen and at the desk. Made my wife and me feel most welcome and appreciated. Who says there’s no place like home?

This hotel was a great value for the price. Dollar for dollar, it is one of the best stays I have had. The staff clearly works hard and takes pride in keeping the place comfortable. Everyone we interacted with seemed genuinely engaged and attentive, and small touches like consistently stocked coffee and lemon and cucumber water did not go unnoticed. Our room setup was perfect for a family of four. Two beds plus a pullout made the space functional and comfortable, which is not always easy to find at this price point. The room was a bit tired, but clean. Breakfast is what you would expect for a hotel in this range. The room was spacious and very clean. Great hot breakfast. Very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Went during fall leaf viewing. Got there late due to prior commitments but it was no problem, we were welcomed warmly when we got there.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The common areas were well appointed and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was appreciative that the hotel was dog friendly, but the "potty area" wasn't that good. I was a little nervous going out with my dog in the dark with some of the unlit areas on the grounds.

Decently clean and maintained, windows that open 🙌🏻, HVAC that was simple and straight forward to use, unfortunately my room did have a mini fridge that I couldn't unplug and ran all night. Staff was friendly. Overall good value. Would stay again.
