Wyndham Ocean Ridge, The Village

Wyndham made someone who had knee surgery recently, walk up two flights of stairs to the tiny room. The dishes were dirty and required us to clean them in the dishwasher. There was old rat dung in a corner by the couch. The shared door to the room next door meant that you could hear the people next door, easily. The doors had a window on them that allowed anyone over six feet to stare right into our room. There was no spare bedding for the incredibly uncomfortable couch bed. The car port underneath only had two spots, for the potential of four rooms. Also Wyndham themselves continued to harass us about coming to learn about their new failed marketing scheme (Travel + Leisure). After three phone calls during our vacation, we finally broke down and went to learn how to access their new featu

Great stay for the past week. All the amenities are amenable. Can't fond the trash spot within the Villages so I went to the front for a refresh on towels and sheets amd they didn't know where it waa either. First week was relaxingly quiet. Going into the second week now there are others and with that more noise and the compound moves unnervingly.

Everything was excellent. Everything was clean and relaxing. Even with the world wide news of the judge's house fire, the town was so peaceful. Only thing to note is there are a lot of stairs and not any elevators.

It was a quiet week. Accommodations are really nice. Weather was generally good, but we bailed a day early due to Hurricane Erin. Bring your own entertainment, it's a pretty quiet island.

We have stayed in the Village for almost a week. We love it and truly feels like home away from home. The kitchen is equipped with basic items, but we have made do with what we have. Love having a full kitchen to prepare meals. We haven't eaten out much, which we prefer. We bought fresh seafood, which was divine. One wish or suggestion would be a small game selection. Board game or a deck of cards. I will know for future to bring those. The kids have their own space, which as allowed everyone to have some down time.
