Wyndham Ocean Ridge Beach Walk

We stayed at a 4 bedroom at Ocean Walk. It is a short walk to public beach access 24. We rented a golf cart and drove over to beach access 37 most days. That is where we have always seen dolphins. There are no waves there, but it is always less crowded. Whaley's is just a few blocks away, but if you have a large party, go two hours before you are hungry because you will have to wait. It was worth the wait though. The unit was well stocked, and had plenty of room for our party of 8.

We have stayed in several places built on stilts but never had the sway we had at this place. It rocked us to sleep at night. However we had a really nice condo

Top line experience. Comfortable beds, A/C to keep the humidity at bay, big enough wash rooms for two, furnished kitchen that allows for entertaining guests, just a well rounded experience. The kids enjoyed the Put Put golf, playing in the waves, and the boys really loved the Serpentarium. Fine dining when we felt like going out, and a balcony BBQ for when we just wanted to be alone together. A well rounded relaxing getaway from the crush of our busy lives.

The only thing keeping this wonderful place from being 5 stars is that the living room curtain rod is hanging loose, the outdoor grills don't work and the curtains actually cover the floor vents. Other than that it's beautiful, spacious and close to the beach. The staff is amazing.

While I liked the unit being a house I will say that it had cockroaches- we had to ask for the unit to be sprayed. In addition the outside trash cans had not been emptied before our arrival and were never emptied the entire week we were there. The one can had maggots in it. The beach was nice. The town was nice but I do not think I will book this resort again.
