Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown

Positive: Great location; spacious, clean well-equipped rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Negative: Valet parking was slow. We informed the front desk on Sunday morning that the window shade had fallen down. It was never fixed. We were told that the maintenance person was sick!

The front desk was superhelpful with directions, telling about the shuttle, a Lyft to where we were going. I was able to check in early and get the shuttle and then the train to my event saving me money and my belongings, and car were secure. I would gladly stay again. I would like to point out I believe the front desk went above and beyond in helping me as I had no clue to restaurants, how to do a Lyft, the train or anything in the area. They were wonderful. As well as my room being early, on a busy weekend.

While this hotel isn't directly located in downtown it is only 1 mile from the heart of the city. They offer very reasonable valet with one price and you have the option to come and go throughout the day/night. They also offer complimentary car service which saved us from having to get UBERS. The room was clean and well appointed with coffee, microwave and fridge. Very comfortable beds and great blackout curtains for excellent sleep. The breakfast was included and offered many options including eggs as well as fruit and cereal. My favorite aspect of this hotel is the front desk and the rest of the team who work here including the breakfast attendants, housekeeping and valet. They are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! Do not hesitate to book here!!! An excellent value!

Accessible room is very spacious. The beds are very soft. Front desk staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good. They didn't have orange juice like they had in June 2025, so that was a bummer, but the apple juice was good. We were here in June 2025 for a week and had a great experience.

We stayed at the Wyndam Garden Hotel Buffalo Downtown the night before I had surgery at Buffalo General Hospital located down the street. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had an ADA room as I use a wheelchair. My complaints are that the room did not have a roll in shower and it was difficult to turn my wheelchair in the narrow hallway to enter the bathroom. Also, there were no hand rails around the toilet making getting on and off difficult. I was given a shower chair when requested, but my husband had to help me in and out of the bathtub which was a painful experience for me. The other problem is parking. It is valet or parking in a ramp a city block away, about a ten minute walk. Staying here was convenient to the hospital and it is the only hotel nearby. The room in gene
