The Westin Buffalo

Five stars, without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment travel chaos hit (hello, cancelled flight), the staff at the Westin Downtown Buffalo handled everything with grace, empathy, and genuine problem-solving skills. Instead of stress, we were met with understanding and a seamless solution that allowed us to stay an extra night—no scrambling, no attitude, just excellent hospitality. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—exactly what you want after a long travel day. The beds lived up to the Westin reputation, and the overall vibe of the hotel felt calm, polished, and welcoming. Patina 250 deserves its own shout-out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff there were just as wonderful as the hotel team—attentive, friendly, and clearly proud of what they do.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! From Mike w/ valet, check-in, & housekeeping on our floor, everyone was so welcoming and made us feel very special. The room was spotless, and we had a great time in the restaurant. Being able to take the shuttle to/from Shea's 71o Theatre was an added bonus too! The Buffalo Westin has a lot to be proud off.

I booked a Jr. Suite on Saturday before Valentine’s Day. I chose this hotel because it’s great downtown location and reputation as one of the more luxury options in Buffalo. At check in, I was told a large group occupying all of the suites had requested a late check out and my room still needed to be cleaned. I was offered a standard room at discount or I could wait and be upgraded to the Jr. Executive Suite. I chose the upgrade with the indefinite wait. While I do appreciate the upgrade, this issue was identified hours before I checked in so I think a call could have been made to give me a proper arrival time. I was given a glass of champagne to wait in the lobby along 3-4 other couples in the same predicament. The wait was over 90 minutes. I understand the wait time is out of their cont

My friends and I had a great stay at the Westin Buffalo. The girl at the check in was very friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and our room was ready when we arrived early at 2pm. Nice clean room , comfy bed, and great location downtown Buffalo. Breakfast from the cafe in the morning was great. Friendly staff there as well. Would definitely stay again when I return to Buffalo. We had an amazing stay! The hotel was spotless, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we felt truly welcomed from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
