Wydown Hotel

The Wydown is way more than a 3 star hotel! What a gem in St. Helena!! The location is perfect allowing us to walk to dinner, wine bars, and shops. Guests can use the Health Spa Napa Valley which has a decent fitness center and a lovely pool area. The hotel has a basic but good breakfast with excellent English muffins from a local bakery. But it’s the extra things that really impressed me - our room had two luggage racks (that might seem small but it’s so helpful), nicely placed hooks for hanging our things, and the room was so spacious with plenty of area for us to spread out and feel at home. Also, the bed and pillows were perfect! So comfortable! The staff were so friendly, warm, and helpful. And every night there were freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! I hope to stay here again. It

Amazing small boutique hotel in the quaint town of St.Helena. |The room we had was very clean, comfortable and had great air conditioning for a hot summer day.|We were greeted with a warm welcome by the front desk. We were very early for check-in but they offered the use of any amenities while waiting.|The location is perfect walking distance to many restaurants and a couple tasting rooms as well as a winery or two. Also in walking distance is a trail on the Napa trail system that is amazing. The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of options from a local bakery as well as other yogurts, granola, etc. Amazing small hotel that truly makes their costumers feel welcome.

Boutique property on Main with free parking in the rear of the hotel. The rooms are a good size but I found it dark (room 8). The “resort fee” gave you cold water in fridge and use of a pool/gym about 12 minutes walk away. Breakfast was disappointing as the variety was minimal. The towels and beds are lovely. The staff are great too. With taxes and fees it’s over $400 a night - but you are in the Napa Valley!

Best hotel in area that we have found over the years. Beautiful huge room, new upscale decor , attentive staff , delicious breakfast included. Fair price , safe parking . This hotel has it all ! Small boutique , family owned . This St Helena location is right in the middle of most Napa's biggest wineries so you won't have to drive far after wine tasting . Call front desk directly (Michael or Carol) for best rate . We won't have to stay elsewhere on future trips.

I am used to staying in Yountville at the big posh resorts and I thought I’d be disappointed here…. I was wrong! This year I was in town for the V. Sattui Harvest Ball. Right down the block from the event, the price point of this hotel is much more reasonable than a lot of places in the area. It’s a great spot for walking around St. Helena to look at the shops or to grab a coffee or dinner. ||The rooms are well appointed…very clean…and most importantly quiet. As a solo traveler, I am always worried about safety, but it was no concern here because the doors are locked after hours. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the conversations with the staff members. ||The gym is a short drive down the block and they were very accommodating to me as a guest of Wydown. ||I was pleasantl
