Spanish Villa Inn

This place is truly a hidden gem! We visited over the long weekend, booked at the last minute, and didn’t know what to expect. The grounds were stunning and very well maintained. Roy, our host, was fantastic—he greeted us warmly upon arrival and even upgraded our room at no extra charge. The room was spacious, spotless, and had the most comfortable bed. The balcony added a touch of charm, making us feel like we were on a European getaway. If you're looking for a European-inspired experience in St. Helena, the Spanish Villa is the ideal spot!

"Well, I never been to Spain But I kinda like the music..." This place was amazing! From the grapefruit, fig, and pomegranate trees (with fruit) garden(s) to the very comfortable rooms, we felt very pampered. There are common areas galore to spend your time outside and inside. Had the place to ourselves for the night and it was quiet. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Loved our stay at Spanish Villa Inn. It was very peaceful and just what we needed, a break from city life. It is perfectly located near great restaurants and wineries. Dr. Roy was very communicative and made us feel comfortable.

First and foremost, this is not a B and B. Reservation queries bring you to a website that apparently has not been relevant for several years. There is no breakfast, there are no services at all. I would compare it to an aging vacation room rental at best. The owner manager continuously mentions the artesian well on the property, but since there are no facilities that provide access to drinking water I have no idea why this should be a consideration. The sole redeeming feature of this place is its proximity to the Adventist Health hospital, which is why we selected it. Even this doesn't offset the lack of features that make even the most budget of budget hotels a better option.

Stayed here one night while attending a concert at the Krug Winery. Room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The area was very peaceful and quiet. The manager left a note to let you know what room you were assigned too. We didn't see anyone in the Inn until we were leaving. A Keurig in the room with coffee would be great since there is no coffee provided in common area. Rate was reasonable for the area.
