Hotel St. Helena

This is now my favorite place to stay in the wine country. The restoration of this historical beauty is fantastic. The small, quaint rooms is perfect. Mary and her husband Nick have created marvelous atmosphere for any visitor. The antique furnishings are incredible. History oozes throughout. An added wine bar adds to the hotels charm.

We booked a room via Expedia early November for almost $700 for one night just to get a call from a number without caller ID asking us to cancel the stay as they were not allowed by the city to reopen (something was not according to regulation). We had to book an even more expensive room instead without refund from Hotel St. Helena. Nancy promised a full refund which we have yet to receive with all their phone numbers being out of service now and no response to emails. When we checked out the hotel in person it was all boarded up. This is a scam, do not book.

We were walking the neighborhood in search of a cute, cozy place to get a latte and cappuccino after the Napa Valley 10K- lemme tell you, this place was the spot! We walked in after seeing the "coffee bar" sign and were immediately greeted by Mary at the front desk. She escorted us toward the coffee nook and promptly took our order. Wondeful service and delicious drinks. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend special 💕 BONUS: pet friendly & outdoor seating (the patio is charming)

Quaint old hotel in the middle of town. Mary at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location. Rooms very small. No one at front desk when we arrived at 4:00. Shower Luke-warm and low pressure.
