The fact that the kitchen cabinets were fully stocked with dishes was great. But, the only way to cook was a microwave. Small bar sized sink for washing dishes, no dish drainer. The room itself was wonderful and the staff great. But, I agreed to a presentation and was told I would have my choice between RCI or $125 on an AMEX. I told the Concierge I preferred the AMEX as I was an owners' guest and would never use the RCI. Had a great conversation with Gary at World Mark but when I went to check out of the presentation, the receptionist told me she had already put me in for the RCI. I explained to her it wasn't what I had asked for and she said it was too late. I immediately went to the Concierge at Orange Tree Resort and told them what had transpired. I went back almost daily du
We chose this resort due to location of two events this weekend. |First of all this is not a resort , it’s more like a hotel. We chose studio only due to no 1 bed until was not available for our stay. |We arrive 3:45pm, greeted by staff, started check in process, was told our room was not ready and that he didn’t know when it would be, and took my phone # to text me when ready. And reminded me check in time wasn’t until 4pm or latter. At 4:01 pm went back up to the check in desk, this time a lady helped and said our room was ready. Come on -how rude to make your guest wait 15 minutes just to hand them room keys, when your paying the price we did this should not have been an issue for anyone, but some higher up there is really missing customer service when you play games like that. Really disappointed with this location. Stayed here in February for a week. Aside from not being able to lock our door and the large gap at bottom of door… Let me begin by saying I did have high hopes for this trip. My bestie and I made a road trip to Scottsdale from Albuquerque. When we checked in we were exhausted… but happy we made it and mentioned it to front desk that we were attending Innings Festival. To our surprise the very pretty but plump lipped female at desk said she overheard us telling front desk we were going and had an amazing opportunity for us as guests of Wyndham… sh said as a benefit we could purchase a $100 per ticket band for their bungalow as a member. I asked what exactly is the catch… ? She straight faced looked at us and said… you just have to let us know about t
Not actually part of World Mark. This is a Shell Vacations holding that either World Mark or Wyndham have a partnership with. The staff at the front desk are nice and accommodating and the "concierge" (their entry point to upselling you was polite). Upon check in, we were in building 4 of 8 (the buildings are in chronological order going away from the main building, check in, clubhouse, etc.) To quickly find that there is barely any parking past building 1 and if you were to be in a room in buildings 5-8, there is no parking, your huffing it. Got to our room to find that a one bedroom only has a kitchenet like a studio (no oven or range, guess they figure your going to eat at their restaurant all the time) and that this particular room, the main window and one of the bedrooms blinds would
My husband and I recently celebrated our honeymoon at this lovely location, and we truly enjoyed our stay! The proximity to fantastic restaurants was a delightful bonus. Alejandro was exceptionally kind and attentive, assisting us with everything we needed during our visit. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, making our experience effortless. We also appreciated the serene and clean pool area, perfect for relaxation. There were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, I advise against getting involved in the timeshare presentation, as they offer a free gift for attending but can be quite persistent if you decide to decline. It took a call to management to express our wishes, and unfortunately, I still faced attempts to sell after that. (all within 24 hours of being there). U
