A Charming Home Away From Home in San Diego! My stay at the WorldMark San Diego Balboa Park was truly delightful and exceeded my expectations. This timeshare hotel offers a unique and memorable experience, blending old-world charm with modern comforts. The Accommodation: The property is beautifully decorated; the furniture and drapes are well-appointed, contributing to a lovely, inviting atmosphere. My suite was like a well-equipped bachelor apartment, complete with a small kitchen that had all the conveniences I needed: an induction cooker, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, and a flat-screen TV. I especially enjoyed the good view of the city from my room. Exceptional Service: The staff truly makes this hotel shine. Everyone I encountered—from the doorman and valet to the fr
This is a nice place and was a good location for us. Close to Petco Park, and not a far Uber to Little Italy. Check in was smooth and everyone was friendly. The valet guy, Antonio I think, was awesome. He gave us a lot of ideas for the area including taking Circuit. He was very friendly and helpful. The areas around the hotel is not the best area to walk around, lot of homeless. ||The biggest complaint about staying here was the noise. Road noise all night long and the rooms do not block much sound at all. Housekeeping starting early in the mornings made sleeping past 630 impossible. ||We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, but the thermostat was in the bedroom and was on a motion sensor. If you are not in the bedroom, the AC would not kick on. Same issue while trying to sleep, you
I received a wonderful room that faced Balboa park on one side and downtown on the other. This location was near a homeless encampment, and I can hear numerous police cars, the local McDonalds playing classical music to the mentally ill homeless all night, and other loud cars from the street. The hvac when heat was on was super loud. I didn't like the pressure of the valet trying to get my business, egging me to move my car when I only spent a few minutes unloading, then being forced to put my credit card in for the valet parking as a requirement to stay, even though I did not want to use the service, and then the valet moved my seat position and seat pad to put the car in a different area because I took more than 2 minutes unloading at 7am on a Sunday. I also didn't like the saleslady
We’ve stayed at this location a few times, and it’s always a great experience. The service, atmosphere, and rooms are all excellent. The front desk and concierge staff are especially friendly and welcoming to me and my kids, which I really appreciate. There’s also a free-play pool table in the game room — a nice touch. The game room has a self-serve food area with a good selection of snacks, drinks, and even frozen or ready-to-eat meals you can take back to your room. If you have time, I recommend taking a short walk with your family into the nearby business area. There are some great food options, including "The Taco Stand" that we really enjoyed. I had the carne asada burrito (highly recommend), and my wife loved the al pastor tacos. Seating is limited, so you might need to take your f
We really enjoy this Worldmark property and their rooftop with outstanding views! The only downside, in our opinion, is that it is not very close to restaurants and coffee shops, compared to the other location (Inn at the Park). Worldmark staff always does a great job.
