WoodSpring Suites Tamarac

Special thanks to staff member Inose for great customer service and professionalism. She represents hospitality at its highest, like " WOW " she is amazing! Multi tasking with such poise. Assisting with every need and giving comfort which made us enjoy our stay. I'm highly satisfied with her service . I don't do reviews but , here's my tip and gratitude. Inose deserves this recognition. As I've seen she highlights the term hospitality, I'm (we're) thankful for her !

First of all, walking into this establishment, the stench hits you like a ton of bricks! The elevator had a burnt odor that seemed as if it was on fire due to a cable being clipped. When we got to the room, it just gave me the ick. We weren’t planning on staying long but we literally left after being in that room for less than 15 min. By the time we left the room the elevator was out of service and when we went to the front desk to say we were leaving, we were told we couldn’t get our funds back. We ended up having to take our luggage down the stairs. All of the other reviews were pretty accurate. I’m glad we chose to get up out of this outdated place…

Positive: "" Negative: They have people living there full time and are not respectful of other guests. They smoke inside, they run the hallways at all hours of the night, they prowl the parking lit at night.

My stay at Woodsprings Suites in Tamarac was not initially planned to be long-term, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it extended far beyond what I expected. This hotel functions far more like an apartment complex than a traditional hotel, with many long-term residents. The in-room amenities were the most positive feature: a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and two-burner cooktop made meal prep easy and cost-effective. The room offers adequate space for 2–3 guests. Unfortunately, the overall condition and environment of the property were extremely disappointing. My room had a roach infestation upon arrival, which took weeks to resolve—and I ultimately handled it myself. The bathroom was outdated, rusted, and showed signs of mold, which I also had to personally clean. The building

Room had cockroaches and there were bugs in the fridge. I slept in the car for the night because I didn’t want to sleep with cockroaches. I would have addressed this with the front desk staff in-person, but they were closed for night and would not be at the desk till 9am the next day. Basically, I paid $200 to be able to take a shower in the morning and use the toilet after sleeping in my car. I can tell the staff do clean the room, but when ya have bugs… you have bugs! On top of that, it also smelled like cleaning product and weed in the hallways. Cars parked in the load in/ zone. Overall, the experience was awful and ruined the start of my vacation. My advice, book elsewhere. Cancelling my future Woodspring reservation for my next trip now too.
