WoodSpring Suites Sioux Falls

We have stayed at Woodspring Suites multiple times and have never been disappointed. This trip we had booked a double room as usual as our daughter that goes to NDSU would be staying with us. When we got to our room it was under renovations. So we went back down and were told they didn't have anymore doubles as there was the state wrestling tournament in town. They offered us 2 single rooms that were across the hall from each other. Not what we wanted. My husband asked if there were any other options and the clerk said there was one other room. It turned out to be a larger room with one bed and a love seat. He told us he would move the love seat to the end of bed and since it was a larger room he would bring in a bedframe and a brand new mattress. They went above and beyond for us. This h

Positive: General manager was friendly and understanding. Negative: Front desk lady was absolutely horrible and rude. So bad that we checked out a day early and went to a different hotel. Hotel also needs a major upgrade as beds are all wore out and very uncomfortable.

The company did not change ownership. It changed its name and updated its exterior after a merger with another crappy motel. Inside looks like a Brooklyn apartment building...for the price granted its not a terrible deal but still pretty bad. The customer service is nonexistent. To check in you need to call the owners cell phone who took 20 min to get there and the security deposit is a whopping 200 bucks! Also i got charged for 2 nights when i only stayed one. They advertise housekeeping but that never happened either. The bathroom was falling apart. Surprised they had running water. Of course hot water is only something you get at a 3 star hotel right? Do yourself a favor and stay at the holiday inn for 2 bucks more. This place is on a good value for long term stays. But i couldn't imagi

I planned on staying until Monday morning. The first guy I checked in with and renewed with yesterday was great. Then this morning at 9:45 I’m startled awake by someone constantly knocking on my door. Then they’re talking about checking out mad. I call down stairs and definitely greeted with no concern and slight attitude. I’m just going to find another place! I drive for a living and frequent this area I won’t be back!

Super dirty. The front desk isn’t very helpful, super unprofessional. She was having a constant personal call on her cellphone while dealing with customers. The whole building smelled like dirty carpet and onions. The room itself reeked of pee and the sheets were blood-stained, the top sheet was also covered in dirt. I asked for new sheets and they were dirty as well. When taking the pillow case off to change it, it had pee stains all over it. The room keys also don't work so that made things a bit more frustrating on top of everything else. Overall don’t stay here unless it’s your last resort. It’s super nasty.
