Hyatt Place Sioux Falls – South

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Rooms were modern and very clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh with many options to choose from. The best part of our stay was the nice water like pond next to our hotel. Our family enjoyed a nice little walk around the water.

This hotel IS very nice and very clean but I would never stay here again. The bed is horribly uncomfortable. You can hear everything from all the rooms around you and the fan is too quiet to drown any of it out. The staff is wonderful and all do a great job! The customer facing staff were friendly and fun and the cleaning staff are doing an excellent job. It’s just poor building quality and mattresses long overdue for replacement. If comfort and peace and quiet matters to you this is hotel is a no go.

Booked with points on the app. Arrived late on a Friday night. Front desk person seemed tired of people at this late hour. We are Hyatt members and were not offered a complimentary water. We only learned about the water as we checked out. I guess we were eligible for two waters a day. |Our room was immaculate and very clean. Sitting area made the room seem very large. Bed was super comfortable. I slept like a rock. |Complimentary breakfast was above average in my opinion. Eggs were fluffy and bacon perfectly cooked. Lots of choices and breakfast room overlooks the nearby lake. |Only issues was the very poor water pressure in the shower. Took about 2 minutes for hot water to reach 4th. Bath towels were no longer fluffy. Hand towels were fluffy just bath towels that were not. I w

Very nice hotel in a quiet location on Lake Lorraine. Close to restaurants, malls, and right off I-29 for easy travel in the city. The rooms were more spacious than a typical room with the addition of a pull out sleeper sofa. The rooms were quiet and clean. The patios and outside fire pit overlooking the small lake was a nice amenity. Although we didn't use the pool, it was larger than a lot of hotel pools. The only negative was there needed to be more help wiping down tables during the breakfast buffet. The hotel was very busy, and there wasn't a single clean table during the breakfast rush. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Location is great. Don’t have the traffic but easy to get anywhere in town quickly. Staff is outstanding - friendly and knowledgeable about events and locations in the area. I door swim pool but it is freezing - kids lips turned blue after 20 minutes. NO hot tub. Continental breakfast was okay. Potatoes were undercooked both days and pancakes/waffles were hard and unable to be eaten. Bananas were ready to be used for bread. Overall we liked it but might rethink it next time mostly because of the kids stuff: pool, breakfast.
