WoodSpring Suites Macon West I-475

To be honest, it's nothing bad to say about woodsprings. It's quiet, well secured and the staff is nice. Me and my husband stayed there from August 5 2025 till February 18 this year. Room was nice, laundry room on site. In order to gain access to the building, you had to use your key card. I enjoyed my stay there, but sometimes you have to say goodbye. The only thing I didn't like about being there is the fact that when it was cold you still had to go outside and smoke. And than you have this fire alarm. Loud and scares you when you not thinking about it. Maintenance on they job. Housekeeping do what they do. I would definitely recommend anybody to go to woodsprings. Loved it there.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. Within 45 minutes of arriving, I witnessed more than enough to know I could not stay. The room was dingy, dirty, and had a strong, foul smell. I saw roaches in the room and even found ticks, which is completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe. The parking lot was just as bad—people were camping out there and playing loud music, creating a chaotic and uncomfortable environment. The entire property felt neglected. To make matters worse, all of this happened in less than an hour. I immediately loaded my items back into the rental car and left. Not a good place to work. The GM Asia shows alot of favoritism. Shes a bully & try her best to get everyone she doesnt like out the door, just because she dont like them. You can be doing your job and she still pick at you! Do not work here. Shes always talking to her employees like trash. Even the guest has witnessed it numerous times. Only good person is Shameka. And she be trying her as well! With out her it wouldnt even be worth applying!!! Asia never takes accountability. And always put her employees under the bus! Lets not get started on rachel!! I was looking for a clean &amp comfortable, and yet inexpensive, extended stay hotel for my 6 month work project in Macon, and I found in WoodSpring Suites Macon West exactly what I was looking for! A clean and well furnished room, very quiet neighbours, great proximity to shopping &amp restaurants - all this within only a 15 minute drive from my work site. I really appreciated the front office staff being available 24/7, the scheduled room cleaning, the on-site laundry facilities, good cable channel selections - I have nothing to complain about. If I come back to Macon for another project, I will be staying at WoodSpring. If I were to make a simple suggestion, it would be that the outside light on the West exit of the building was burned out for the last month of my stay. As I lef

The hotel is quiet, key access to enter and exit the building. You have a guy on the first floor that sells weed. Door stays open, you have weird strange people that hang out in the hallway. It's too cold outside for the handicapped people to have to be outside in the cold to smoke. Weird people walking around the hotel looking for cigarettes. There are small children that live in the building and they fired people that didn't need to be fired. They were good people that fired for nothing. Nobody works in the office after hours when they should. They need security over here.
