Hampton Inn & Suites Macon I-75 North

The hotel staff were super friendly, the facilities are very clean. My only complaint which is one of the main reasons, people get a hotel room, are the beds. No matter how big a bed you get it doesnt matter, they so uncomfortable. If you like sleeping on "plywood" then you'll love it. If you like being comfortable, rent an RV. I dont understand why hotels/motels are more worried about appearances and less concerned with their customers sleep comfort. Other than that it was fine.

We arrived at the property and went to the front desk, where two female staffers were preoccupied with something on the computer system. Stood in front of them for several minutes finally asked if this was the Hampton Inn, which they said yes, and went right back to their tasks. Finally, we decided to go to the restroom and then return to the desk where we finally were able to check in. No one said hello asked if they could help us. It was as if we were invisible. Never had this experience at any place before.

We stayed for a night getaway and woke up to no power due to an outage on the block. Initially, we were understandably a little frustrated since everything was dark and difficult to navigate. However, when we went down to breakfast, Imani completely changed our experience. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She made sure we had juice, went above and beyond by clearing our plates as we finished, and kept such a positive attitude despite the circumstances. Her kindness and professionalism truly drowned out the inconvenience of the outage. Imani turned what could have been a negative morning into a great one, and she deserves recognition for that

Don’t stay here! Read a review recently where a car was broken into - we woke up this morning and three trucks- not our car thankfully- had their windows broken and inside ransacked. Talking with police- there have been over 20 break ins of cars in the hotel and others nearby in the last several months. Front desk personnel said it is a problem and sometimes they watch the cameras and sometimes not. So unfortunate- hotel not bad, and we have stayed before- but never again- these poor folks are out sweeping glass from their cars! Not worth staying in this area!

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. The staff was the most attentive, friendly staff we've ever experienced at a hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean. The location of the faucet in the bathroom made it very difficult to wash your hands, but the staff friendliness outweighed this and we will definitely stay here again.
