WoodSpring Suites Houston Baytown

We stayed here for 3 months while completing a student clinical rotation at the local hospital. The rooms have full size sinks and fridges as well as a two-burner stove, all of which are great. The rooms are small, but nice enough. Considering how cheap it is to stay a month or longer, we were overall pleased with our experience. Nothing is particularly nice or super high-quality, but for the money everything is fine. If you're on a student budget, we think it's a good choice.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to say something. When I got to the hotel, Toya/Coco was working at the front desk. She didn’t seem happy to be there and wasn’t very friendly. She barely looked at me and acted like helping me was a hassle. I asked about parking, and she just sighed and gave me a short answer that didn’t really help. The whole check-in felt rushed and kind of cold. I get that people have bad days, but in a hotel, being nice should be part of the job. That said, the rest of the staff were great. Rocky and Suni were very friendly and helpful. They were very professional and made the remainder of my stay worthwhile. I give those two 4 stars. It’s just a shame that my first interaction with Toya wasn’t a good one. Hopefully this will change in the future b

The key cards didn't work but it was easy to get in touch with someone to get back in the room. Room was clean on arrival. Very basic extended stay rooms. Nothing fancy but nothing missing either. Located right off the interstate so there is some noise. Some of the guests are loud but that's during the day. Generally quiet in the evening. Easy to get to but hard to get out of especially when leaving during the morning or evening rush.

Be careful if you plan to stay at Woodspring Hotel. I booked a room for one week and paid $314. However, due to the uncomfortable condition of the room, I decided to only stay two nights and checked out after two nights. Upon check-in, the receptionist asked me to sign a piece of paper as proof of payment, but she didn't explain that the money would not be refunded if there were any problems during my stay. After checking out, I requested a refund for the remaining nights, but they told me to call them on Monday to get the refund. When I called on Monday, the manager said that the money was non-refundable because I had signed the agreement. I did not get a refund of approximately $220.
