We needed a hotel that would allow us to have our dogs without charging more than it would cost to actually board the dogs, and this fit the bill. The hotel was fine. It is rated as a three-star hotel, and I do think it met that standard for sure. The staff we interacted with was nice, and our room was in good shape as far as what housekeeping has control over. The location on Garth was fine, and it was far enough from the highway that we did not hear the highway. We did not hear other rooms or doors, but we were on the top floor at the end. I saw but did not use the exercise room.||I did observe some of the wear and tear/moisture-related concerns that some other reviewers have mentioned. Positive: The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. I like the kitchenette and space the room provides. Negative: I had bugs around my ac unit and the floors are slippery in kitchenette, my mom switched rooms 3 times. First room smelled terrible and she slipped and fell due to floors being slippery, 2nd room smelled like mildew, 3rd room was musty and slippery floors

I was there last Friday 12/5/25 for a company offsite meeting. I came earlier and wanted a place to work while I wait for my turn to join my team. I am so thankful for the front desk Isabelle. She took good care of me and gave me a good place to work on my laptop as I wait for me to join my group. She greeted me with a smile! So professional wanting me to feel welcomed. I thank her for her quality of service and I thank Hilton. As a diamond member, it makes me continue to stay at Hilton as I travel a lot for work! Home 2 Suites by Hilton in Baytown TX is a great place to stay!

Update: Management did finally get the coffee issue resolved. As is usually the case...the management and employees are kind and nice people. I stand by my original point but I could have been a bit kinder myself. Apologies! (In my defense...I hadn't had my coffee that morning!😂) Inexcusable for a hotel to not have coffee for days. Take some petty cash, go a mile down the street, and buy some coffee until you can get your act together. Certainly do not blame your failure a storm that may or may not have any effect on the area at some time in the future. Own your mistake and fix it.
