Woodfords Inn

We were not expecting much when we booked the room, but we were very pleased by it and the kindness of the owners! We booked here to avoid a storm and when we arrived early in the evening, the owner had food for their guests (from their Chinese restaurant in South Lake Tahoe, Hunan Garden) The food was delicious and it was very thoughtful of the owners to provide food so we wouldn’t have to drive anywhere to eat! (I am not sure if they do this every day but they offer plenty of free snacks/coffee/tea too!) The room was clean and comfortable with a full size fridge and a microwave! They also have outdoor tables for hotter days! We are glad we discovered this place, close to Kirkwood! We’ll be back!

This is a charming hotel. It was perfect after our high country hiking. Tidy and comfortable room, with a lovely mountain cabin decor. The owner is welcoming and very gracious. And there are sorts of delightful snacks provided (free) in the office. We’d certainly stay there again.

The checkin was easy and the rooms were super clean. Very comfortable beds. I love the retro microwave and refrigerator. Oh. And fast wifi too.

Inn is very Cozy, love complementary snacks. But internet was so slow could not even watch Netflix on the tv

A very nice spot to stay for your vacation. A good location for hiking, cycling or snow sports. The owner is very gracious with a lot of options for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean with fridge and microwave. You can just relax outside on the bench and enjoy nature after a tiring day outdoors. A lovely place and will come back when I visit the area again.
