Cool campsite. Beautiful views of steep mountains on each side of the campground. 17 sites total. First come first serve, cash only. $24 per night. $6 for extra vehicle. Right across the street from the river. Very clean bathrooms. Multiple spots that can fit a trailer. A few sites great for large groups. Close to a market that has ice cream. Close to the little town of Markleeville too.

You’re not going to get an RV in here easily. It’s super overgrown. We were scraping sides even in our two door Jeep. Some of the trees are barriers. Maybe good to car or tent camp. Beautiful setting but the access road within the campgrounds could use some tending.

We loved the view. My kids had so much fun. Clean bathrooms, portable water available. Nice and quiet. You need water shoes if you are going by the river, it's a bit slippery. They sell wood on site very affordable price. No cell cervice but sometimes that's what you need.

Came here mid week at the end of August and it was empty. Nice campground with a beautiful creek running not far away. Great restrooms and beautiful views

My family and I did an impromptu camping trip this weekend and we were not aware of this huge biking event in Lake Tahoe area and ALL of the campsites in the area were filled up. We were feeling defeated and just about to head home when we decided to turn into this last campground just to try our luck one more time. There was one spot left here where we could fit our pod and it was perfect!!!! The views are awesome with a beautiful mountain right in front of our hill and a very short walk to the river where a lot of people were trying their luck at fishing for the day. The scenery was amazing and the campground was one of the cleanest I've ever been to. I've resigned myself to the fact that I cannot handle Porta Potties and for some reason I decided to try these out. They smelled great,
