Winterset RV Resort

This is a great place to live year round or be a snowbird. A lot of great friends here. Plenty of activities to keep you busy or relax at the heated pool. Beaches are close by. The people here are the friendliest we have encountered in our 13 years of RV'ing. It is clean and the staff are professional as well as accommodating. There are more park models then RVs. There are many activities to keep you as busy as you want to be. It is an over 55 community and also dig friendly. Keep in mind your dog must weigh less then 25 lbs. The RV sites are spacious enough and the price is less then average for this close to the beaches.

Was expecting an RV resort, not a mobile home park with camp sites. Call them first, the website says sewer hookup, but our had none. But since they close at 3pm, there was nobody to talk to all weekend. Not always a deal breaker, but a phone call on the next business day would have been nice.

Just don’t make reservations. They will take your money be nice and send you on your way. I lost hundreds of dollars. I wanted to move the reservation 27 days in advance. Nope what a waste

This is an excellent place to stay. The staff especially Jerilyn Martin (Administrative Assistant) are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and organized. Very reasonable too!
