Winterland Chalet

This was our second stay at one of Jen's winterland cabins and I'm even more blown away by her hospitality than I was after the first time. Whether you are looking for somewhere to bring your furbabies or not, you won't find a better stay in Big Bear! Every detail has been thought about- cozy throw blankets, all the kitchen amenities, really cute curtains that have star shaped holes (see pic), the outside fire pit & hammock were favorites, and I rarely use hot tubes at rentals but Jen keeps it so clean- I got in every night! The fence line is secure and will keep your pups safe, there's a built in dog gate to secure the front porch so they can sit out there & enjoy breakfast with you, also can't forget about the beautiful painted murals. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Winterland! The chalet is such a picturesque cabin. The bed is comfy, the living room space is perfect. We so appreciate being doggie friendly and our dogs LOVE it! We can’t wait to be back soon.

Winterland Chalet is a true gem. Great location, amazing cabin with every little detail thought out by host Jennifer to help our stay be truly remarkable. Clean, quiet, dog friendly, fenced in backyard, comfortable beds, AC.. what’s not to love!! Excellent & timely communication. Superb stay. We WILL be back! Thank you!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. This place is truly magical. We are already planning to come back in December. This home was immaculate. So clean! Jen has thought of everything from the thoughtful gift at arrival to the towels, blankets, portable speaker, games, to many things to even list. There was even melatonin on the nightstand. We did not bring a dog with us on this trip but we will be bringing them when we come back. The backyard is made for furbabies.

Winterland Chalet is a perfect mountain getaway! Jen is the best host! She is so attentive to details and she is always accessible to answer any questions. The backyard is beautiful and completely fenced in. Our Aussie loved it! The coffee bar is such a sweet touch and the complimentary candle adds that special touch! Perfect vacation home! Can’t wait to come back!
