Majestic Moose Lodge - Coptic Village

We were searching for a nice affordable place to spend the night. I read the good reviews on the majestic moose lodge and took a chance. The gentleman at the desk was the nicest frontdesk person I've ever met.very helpful and resourceful. The cottage was very homely and reminded me of good country living. Plenty of blankets, dishes pots and pans, full kitchenette and a wood fireplace. Extremely charming and a total different experience then a regular hotel room. They also had a nice porch and charcoal grills available. I would definitely welcome this experience again. This experience. Would also be great for couples and families that want to broaden their horizon's.

My wife and I LOVED this. Much nicer than a hotel - this was a little cabin with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, kitchen appliances, couch, TV and DVD player. Not fancy but really nice. The room was clean, well decorated and cozy. Great for couples, or for families with a nice area for the kids and bunk beds on our room as well as the big bed. Great staff too -- we'll be back for sure! A++

Very nice place to stay at when it’s covered by snow. Not too much cold as I expected, but enough to hold a snowman stand still for a week 😀. Fire pits, dining area, whole kitchen, a small church like those in the monasteries of the Egyptian deserts. One floor and two floor cabins. A very different experience, and I definitely recommend it, for a small or a big number of people.

Came here two months ago with my wife and we loved it. The price was reasonable, our little cabin for two, the number 15, was homey and cozy. Two months later, we're back for seconds but this time around we stayed at cabin number five. Eddy was very hospitable and attentive to us. Our little cabin had a jacuzzi and came with everything we could possibly need. The place was spotless when we arrived and ready for us to check in upon arrival. The best part about it all, besides the fireplace, grill and jacuzzi, was that check out time for us was whenever we were ready to leave. We will most definitely be coming back.

My husband and i arrived early on a Saturday and the gentleman working there Eddie was very nice to allow us to check in early and said we could take our time the following day to check out which was nice to have the extra time to relax after 2 days of snowboarding. The cabin itself was very cute clean and had a working heater and lots of hot water which up in big bear is surprisingly hard to come by. Also has TV fireplace and kitchen with just about everything you need. Definitely staying here next time we are in town and highly recommend it.|
