Wingate by Wyndham Yuma

Great location close to everything we wanted. Staff was courteous, room was clean and had good refrigerator and microwave. Really nice soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast was cheese omelettes, sausage or bacon and potatoes, along with bagels and cereals. We enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel. Bed was firm and we slept great! Close parking and walking distance to Cracker Barrel!

The stay was pleasant, and the young man who checked me in was very kind, respectful, and had a great attitude.||||My only complaint was the free continental breakfast. Unfortunately, the food quality was below expectations. I would suggest either improving the quality of the food or having a more experienced cook. The potatoes were hard and cold, the sausage was cold and rubbery, and the egg omelets were not enjoyable. The orange juice was the only item I liked.

Built in 2008, the hotel is just off Interstate 8 and 16th Street in Yuma, AZ. Close to Yuma Palms shopping center, and numerous restaurants. Room doors are from an interior hallway, an important consideration for us. This was a 2-night stay, but we previously had a longer stay when they first opened. Our double room was clean and in good condition. The wall AC/heating unit worked well during our stay. There is a small fitness center and an outdoor pool, but we didn't use either. The complimentary hot breakfast was adequate for our needs. It's available just off the lobby area and included coffee, juices, make-your-own waffles, hard-boiled eggs, cheese omelet, bacon, breakfast potatoes, two cold cereals, instant flavored oatmeal, hot chocolate mix, yogurt, and bread. Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Negative: I would have liked the weekly breakfast times to be extended to 10 a.m.

I was very impressed with the hotel. It was excellent. The rooms and lobby were very clean. The staff friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast included omelettes, hashbrowns and sausage plus the normal cold cereal, waffles etc. Only thing we didn’t have time to check out was the hot tub and pool.
