Wingate by Wyndham Harrisburg Near Hershey

I recently stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Harrisburg and found the rooms to be very spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel could greatly benefit from more consistent cleaning and regular maintenance. It seems like there are ongoing issues that could be addressed with a dedicated full-time maintenance staff member responsible for daily tasks such as repairing broken items, touching up paint, and vacuuming carpets. Small improvements like these would make a big difference in the overall guest experience. Sometimes, investing in upkeep is essential for long-term success. I would honestly be willing to pay significantly more to stay here if the property were cleaner and better maintained. The potential is definitely there — it just needs more attention to

Very good hotel overall (7.9/10). Stayed 1 night in April. Spacious room, more like a suite. Admittedly it is worn in parts, but its only cosmetic (torn curtains, marks on walls, that type of thing). Everything worked as it should. Very comfy bed, and very good pillows. Bathroom is a good size, not big, but not small either. Shower was great, excellent spray and water pressure. Breakfast was very good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast), and in a big room. Staff were great, very friendly. Without a doubt I would stay again, as for the price paid ($50 total) it was magnificent value, you'd be hard pressed to find better bang for buck.

This hotel is kind of a mess. Hallway outside our room smelt like old smoke and carpet was covered in white powder. Appearing as though they were doing work on the walls.Revieved three different quotes on price. The room while still kind of smelly was decently clean and the staff was freindly. For the price I was expecting more.

This stay was appalling. They placed us on the 4th floor which was under construction. The light fixtures were hanging off of the walls by the electrical wiring. Moldy wallpaper was torn down and laying on the floor in the hallway. Construction dust was everywhere, including pouring into the hotel rooms we were assigned and covering every surface of the dining room. (Breakfast was pathetic at best.) We requested that they move our rooms due to construction, which they did, which meant our party was separated on 2 separate floors. There was no hot water for showers. The shower curtains were torn. There was a round toilet seat on an oblong toilet. Room service never came to clean up or replace towels. Bathrooms were dirty. The reservation for both rooms was made under one booking and when we

Been staying on and off at this hotel for the last few months for work and it's a totally reasonable 2-start hotel. Room is good, area is quite and close to what I needed, plenty of parking, offered a decent free breakfast including make your own waffle station, decent small workout room, staff was nice, and yea, as long as you aren't looking for something to knock your socks off, just looking for a basic necessities with a few extras hotel then for the price you will have a very hard time finding better. Not saying the other bad reviews are lying, but I've stayed at this hotel for over 70 days over the last 3 months and haven't seen any of what they are talking about.
