My first room smelled like someone had poured cologne all over the carpet. It was almost like the previous guest was trying to hide the fact they had smoked in the room because the bathroom had a faint smell of cigarettes. Over the course of 16 hours I found 6 bugs in my room (see photos). Harmless bugs, but still, bugs. Between that and the suffocating smell of cologne I asked to switch rooms. The front desk person was very nice and apologetic. No issues with the staff at the hotel. All were helpful. However, my second room was a handicap accessible room which was VERY spacious. No bugs. But I did find pubic hair on the bathroom floor along with, not one, but TWO very thick toenails on the carpet in front of the pullout couch. In general, I feel hotel cleaning staff are usually over

As a solo female traveler, safety is extremely important to me, and unfortunately this hotel failed in that regard multiple times. The first incident occurred when I was just getting out of the shower. My room door suddenly opened, and it turned out to be a vendor entering the room. I was completely undressed and had to quickly hide under the sheets and blankets. This was terrifying and should never happen under any circumstances. Just two days later, I returned from my work shift to find my room door left wide open by housekeeping, with no way of knowing how long it had been open. It’s a newer Home2Suites which was great. Plenty of parking available too so no issues there and there are several dining options nearby too. I was in town for a business trip so it was just me in the room. The room was larger than I had seen in other Home2Suites. As usual, there was a full fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and plates/glasses/mugs in the kitchenette. The bathroom was on the smaller side but it was plenty. I was on the 3rd floor and had no problems with noise. One point was that the HVAC unit was one of the older ones (which is odd given that it is a new hotel) so the thermostat on the wall was useless. The breakfast was just ok (didn’t seem very fresh at all so I avoided it after the first day) but typical for a Home2Suites.

Listen, I’m a simple person. You give me a swivel chair and a waffle maker that doesn't require a PhD to operate, and you’ve won my heart. This Home2 Suites is dangerously comfortable. I planned on seeing the Pennsylvania State Capitol, but the bed was so cozy I ended up just watching HGTV and pretending the suite was my own tiny apartment. If you see someone weeping while checking out, it’s me. I didn't want to leave the salt-water pool.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The room is huge! There’s a refrigerator freezer, microwave, dishwasher, plates, and glasses and mugs & a sink at the kitchenette. A large desk and a rolling desk chair. The storage is some of the best I have ever seen. There are hooks and shelves & too many outlets to even count. There are also USB and C outlets. The bathroom is immaculate. One of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The counter space in the bathroom is gigantic. More than enough room for toiletries, hairdryers, and other accessories. The tops on the bedside tables are at least 24“ x 24“. We stayed on the fourth floor, and we never heard any noises & the elevator was literally outside of our door. Everything in this room is clean, clean, clean! I can’t think of a single thin
