Red Lion Hotel Harrisburg Hershey

Based on their reviews (both here and TripAdvisor), we thought it would be good choice. As I've seen in some other reviews, though, the areas outside the lobby are not as nice as expected. The manager Randy did reach out after we expressed that we couldn't stay based on our findings. If it were a much lower price per room so you know what you're getting, it likely would be fine. We were able to go down the road to another hotel for a similar price and be totally happy.

The Experience Is Always Great For Me. Nice location, Great Customer Service And Great Hospitality. I'm from Hbg. And Moved 20 + Years ago. This is my go to hotel when I visit. Not a 5 star hotel but the rooms are always clean and Service is great. Nice location for all my needs when staying there. Mgr. On duty Terrence, was very courteous, friendly and catered to my every need above and beyond. Ben, Heather & Brittany were very courteous & Hospitable also. I Highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel for a comfortable stay.

Positive: I loved having a room with a door that opened out to a grassy area to walk my dogs.. my room was quiet and my bed was comfortable I love the arcade and the indoor pool. Negative: There?s nothing I didn?t like about the hotel. I was actually impressed to have such a good value.

This hotel is outstanding. Great staff from front desk, managers to cleaning crew... Clean rooms and the unique design makes this an unforgettable experience Everytime. Stayed here w large groups multiple times and we’ve checked out marking the calendars to when we come back the next year. Built in the 70s once was an an exclusive resort, makes this unique design something different than your cookie cuter… boring, lifeless hotel stays at big chain hotels. Don’t think… just book! Large outdoor pool and hot tub, basketball courts, tennis courts… lots of green areas for your puppy or dog! Red Lion is a win all round.

It's a nice place. It's old and it shows. But the room was very clean. The bed were nice. And the indoor pool was nice and the water was warm.. however we stayed on a Saturday night the Restaurant, bar and billiards room never opened. The restaurant also never opened Sunday morning. So there was no food offered at anytime. So we figured on staying at the hotel after checking in.. but later had to go out and find a place to eat. So if you think you can be self sufficient while you stay. That may not be the case. You may have to find other dining options during your stay.
