Home2 Suites by Hilton Harrisburg North

Absolutely nothing went right during our stay at this hotel. We specifically chose it for the heated pool, but it was freezing, and our attempts to get it fixed were met with empty promises. My kid was very upset. The room was very noisy from the highway, and the beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was a disaster: very poor, cold food, no silverware, and a complete lack of quality. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.

Pleasantly surprised! Everything was very clean, rooms seemed updated. Gym and indoor saline pool were both nice, even in December. The breakfast was good each day, for a continental at least. The kitchenette was a plus. Small refrigerator, microwave, sink, utensils etc. The only downside we noticed was the bathroom didn’t have an actual door, just one of those slide in the wall things…& no exhaust fan (fogged up after showers). Other than that, it was great!

Positive: Close proximity to the trade show I was attending. The staff was very helpful in setting up an Uber driver to get me to the venue on a Saturday morning. Negative: Very close to a good selection of restaurants and good proximity to the interstate for my trip home.

Pleasantly surprised. The outside looks like a box, but everything inside is very clean and bright. Looks like everything is fairly new. Room was very clean, bright and comfortable. Excercise room is above average for a small hotel fitness room. Free coffee is ok, a little below average, but I am a coffee snob. There is a Starbucks (for what that is worth) within a 5 minute as the crow flys walk. Very easy to find off the interstate. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Harrisburg

I have stayed at many hotels over the last few years for my job, and this hotel BY FAR was the best hotel I've stayed at. The staff was so caring, personal, and kind. The housekeeping staff was consistent with their service, and always kept my room clean and tidy for me. When you work long days and come back to a room that hasn't been serviced, it can be extremely discouraging. I never had that experience at this hotel. I really appreciated that! Chatting with the staff while eating breakfast was always something I looked forward to in the morning. Thank you to the staff for making my time at Home2Suites feel like home :) I appreciate you all!
