Wingate by Wyndham Buckhannon

Hotel was nice. Room was clean, shower felt good, pillows were alot fluffier than I like. Stayed Friday-Sunday. Friday night the hotel was quiet, not a lot of ppl stayed. Saturday was a little louder. I’m use to sleeping with a fan at home, I wish the a/c unit ran all night long, but unfortunately it does not even with it on high, so I had a hard time sleeping, that would also help with the noise level as well if it kept running instead of cutting on and off. Breakfast was good and had a good variety! I asked for a later check out on Sunday and they honored it until 1pm. I was very thankful for that. All the stuff was nice and friendly. I would stay here again anytime I come to this area. Its a 5-6 min drive to downtown to Buckhannon.

My sisters and I were visiting the area for a couple of days and stayed here. It's a really nice, comfortable place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. I really liked that they came and made up the room each day and brought fresh towels unless asked not to. The breakfast was good with eggs and sausage or bacon. There was a pancake machine, breads, cereals, yogurt and muffins. There was a nice pool, but we didn't get the chance to use it. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

Positive: It's hard to rate the best, I couldn't see anything that did not meet the best expectations that I experienced here. I've stay at dozens of Motels over the last year, and this was the best hands down. Negative: Yes, how were they able to create such a great environment all around and service. Please have them share their secret with other Motels please Lol.But the true answer is No.

Room was a mini suite with a couch and desk, mini fridge and microwave. Front desk staff was friendly. The room and hallways were clean. Good choices at breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, juice, coffee, yogurt). Easy pre-check in process online. It's a couple miles from the main part of town with restaurants/stores. But I would definitely stay again!

Nice rooms, very clean and comfortable. Staff was all very nice minus the lady cleaning up the breakfast area. Breakfast is open til 10am per the front desk but when we came to get something at 940 there was someone already cleaning and mopping and she kept checking her watch and looking at us as if we’re holding her up. Could’ve done without that!
