Positive: Fair price and convenient location. Negative: Lacked internet bandwidth. Both night the connection quality dropped around 10:00 PM, as more people occupied their rooms.

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Fredericksburg. The desk hostess was super friendly and check-in was a breeze. The price was wonderful. The room was fine, too- the bed was comfortable, water pressure great, and it had other niceties like ironing board/ iron, hairdryer, microwave, and fride. (No coffee pot, but that was available in the lobby). I gave it a 4 rating instead of 5 because it sounded like people were constantly moving furniture in the room above us (?), and this was around nine o'clock at night. Would I stay here again? Definitely yes!

When you stay at a budget hotel and everything works like it should, you don’t complain. Lights take a few seconds to turn on is all. Safe and comfortable. Seems like it is family owned. Like I said, lights take a couple seconds to turn on so we thought they were out. But Front desk was helpful. We stayed one night to visit Enchanted Rock. We were also delighted with the free breakfast. Highly recommended!!!! Thank you Wine Country Inn Texas!

Safe-clean-good location-basic no frills- excellent price room. ||PROS: EXCELLENT price, ample parking, checking in was relatively quick and easy, bed and linen seemed relatively new, STRONG water pressure in room, room was clean, 100's of TV and Movie channels. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Pillows were large and firm. Had ironing board and iron, refrigerator, and microwave -- all of which were clean||Location is good. ||CON: Whatever fragrance they spray in the room literally was so overwhelming I had to open the windows and door to air it out for about 45 minutes. It was so strong that even while taking a shower you smelt it. It was like they had exploded a case of cheap smelling incense or potpourri in your room. (OK - beating a dead-horse now) ||Would I stay here again - YES.

This is my go to place when I'm in Fred. I mean $49 for a weekday rate!! Would like to see a desk clerk more often. I needed to ask them something and I could never find anyone. The rooms are comfortable, and yes, beds are not as soft as mine at home, but the rate is good. I like that it's not close to the noise downtown. The breakfast is more on a continental style. The grounds are beautiful and I never see trash anywhere outside! I will be back. I do hope there are more rooms to be offered on highest floors. I didn't like staying on 1st floor when I had requested higher floor. Next time I will call ahead to insure of this.
