Stay Fredericksburg - Wine Country Cottages

This place is just a short walk from the downtown main shopping and restaurants. It was very cute, clean,spacious, very cozy, with a great porch to sit out on and a hot tub to enjoy. The host was superb! They answered every question we had and gave us great suggestions to experience Fredericksburg. The treats left for breakfast were wonderful. We had a wonderful time staying here and will plan on staying there again.

Took an anniversary trip to Fredericksburg to relax, do some hiking, visit our cat, and make some memories. Stayed here (it’s been 2 years but I’m trying to clean out pics on my phone!) and had the best time! We loved the accommodations, atmosphere, location, and hospitality. You even got bakery treats in the fridge and on the counter and the room had a hot tub. The area was spacious and well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here a few weeks ago for our 25th wedding Anniversary for 3 nights. We had planned to visit wineries, museums and the caves. My husband got terribly injured when he fell on the neglected, uneven walkway. Staff told us they knew about the problem and only repaired it 1x a year. He had to get a scooter for his ankle because he couldn't walk after the first day. Staff did fix the problem the following afternoon, which was nice. They didn't really seem to care that he was injured though. We didn't get to do the activies we booked because he was in so much pain and couldn't get into the caves on the scooter, even if he wanted to. This place is awesome. The way they retained character of these cottages while making them very well refurbished is amazing. Everything is orderly. The management is impressive with how they get about every detail you could think of. There is one really surprising detail that needs to be addressed and I’m going to assume they may not even be aware of it but the bed frame (in The Tank House) that I got to my bed was extremely squeaky, triggered by even the slightest movement of my neck. I slept horribly because any movement that I even began to make caused the squeaking. It made for really poor sleep and is something that can easily be addressed so I hope they do, so that future guests can have a fully exceptional experience without this overshadowing it. A wonderful experience for my first staying here in Fredericksburg, beautiful town, location was near everything happening, the cottage was beautiful, cozy and beautiful and wonderful. The ladies that set up the cottage we stayed in were informative, communicative, and really nice. The cottage was clean, and homey, and wonderfully comfortable. Neat staying in a piece of history.
