Longneck Manor

We stayed in the Giraffe Suite and our 2 and 7 year old kids had an amazing time. They loved feeding the giraffes and petting the rhino. Everyone at Longneck Manor was very friendly and knowledgeable and the suite was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Fredricksburg's main street is only about a 12-15 minute drive from the sanctuary. We enjoyed every part of our trip and our animal guide Casey was wonderful as well. We would definitely recommend anyone to come stay at Longneck Manor.

This place is AMAZ-ING! It was the most incredible experience for my 40th birthday. Noel and Jessica were excellent animal specialists/tour guides. They were super informative and patient. And they obviously love their job. And the animals were awesome. Got to pet and rub on Barney the rhino. And then feeding the giraffes!!! Nothing like at the zoo, where they just give you like two pieces of lettuce to feed them. No! It was like buckets of food and it lasted like 20 minutes. So much time with the giraffes. This was the best birthday experience and is worth EVERY PENNY. Thanks Noel and Jessica for making my birthday great!

The drive was wonderful from the main road to the welcome center. We were received with a warm welcome. The villa is really clean and well organized. Great internet and fresh air. Encountering with the gentle giants is great. The owner is really nice and have lots of experience with wild life. Interesting conversation with him. Really friendly people. I would highly recommend this as a refresher from the city life.

We visitors for my wife’s birthday trip and loved it. Spent two days with the giraffes🦒 and rhinos 🦏 They are such beautiful animals. Longneck Manor is clean and beautiful. The suites are amazing and the staff is great. Feeding the giraffes, painting with the giraffes and rhinos is truly a unique experience. I highly recommend if you want a different experience. The town of Fredericksburg has so much to offer as well. Great restaurants, shoppes and enough wine tasting to satisfy any wine lover. Great trip, great people, amazing experience for couples or families.

We took 3 and 5-year-old boys for the 75 minute excursion. They Absolutely loved it. Our tour instructors were very knowledgeable and very friendly. The children were able to feed the animals and pet the rhino named Barney. They talked about it all the way home. Definitely worth the money!
