Der Stall Guesthouse Barn

My wife and I took a three day getaway, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday to celebrate our anniversary. THE STAY AT THE DER STALL, WAS ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS. The accommodations were fun and satisfied our every need. The German motif of the accommodations match the German traditions of the surrounding community. The owners Ron and Sue provided us all the information we needed to enjoy the attractions of the area. We are planning a longer stay with the kids next time.

Cannot begin to describe what a wonderful place. Just a quick 4 miles outside of Fredericksburg, TX very convenient and very easy to find. The entrance was very well lit on the late night drive back after a night on the town. Our hostess Susan was very sweet and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Our yummy breakfasts arrived on schedule every morning and a goody basket was waiting for us in the afternoon after a day of shopping and sightseeing. Perfect setting for a relaxing weekend. We'll be back, hopefully soon......

What a lovely place to stay in Fredericksburg, especially during Oktoberfest. The place is cozy and peaceful. It’s close enough to the activities for convenience, but far enough to escape the crowds for some quiet time. You don’t want to miss the breakfast delivered to your door. The owners were so gracious and accommodating; we’ll be staying again.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this B & B over Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg! The decor really captures the Bavarian style and we enjoyed looking at the memorabilia. The fridge was stocked with dark beer and wine and the snacks were perfect after a long day. We will definitely be back!

We spent two nights at Der Stall and had a very enjoyable stay! Our children loved lying in the hammock and staying in the loft. The breakfasts are amazing! We also enjoyed walking along the quiet road in this neighborhood and seeing the wildlife as we strolled. We would definitely stay here again!
