Windsor Motel

This place is really dumpy! Pictures online looked okay. Good enough for a cheap night out and to enjoy Octoberfest. The room was pretty gross! Mold and water stains everywhere! Cracks in the walls and ceiling. Cinderblock walls. Laminated floors. Hair in the sink. Soap scum all over the sink. Mold throughout the shower. I opened to put my leftovers in the fridge and the handle was sticky! Definitely a lack of care and attention to detail. Pictures on the wall were all crooked. It was just depressing. No heat. Just a small little heater the size of a soda can in the corner of the room. The bed was on wheels, no headboard, cheap linens, thin blanket. Freezing cold! Hard to get comfortable and sleep, especially when everyone is partying all night in the parking lot! All that stuff is to be

The pool has been heated it just feels cold because of the weather and they put a hose in there so the heat is faint but once u get in past the cold its not really cold because even the manager says its heated||You

We’ve been coming to the Windsor for years. This year there was a young couple that bought the place and we have to say what wonderful improvements they have made! Everything was great! They were so friendly from the moment we arrived. They couldn’t have been nicer. Everything was clean and fresh and they made great improvements to the pool area! The motel is located in the center of everything and you just park your car and walk . They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and the young lady makes the most amazing candles! If you’re looking for a nice, clean, friendly place to stay in Lake George this is it!

Been coming to Lake George for over 30 years, mostly camped as a kid, stayed in different hotels, but this one I’ve stayed in for a few days every summer for the last four years, and I won’t stay anywhere else. The price for the location can’t be beat, and that truly is the biggest selling point. The rooms are dated, yes, and they could benefit from major upgrades, but, it’s a bed to sleep in and a hot shower for a few hours out of a few days vacation, so no frills is truly fine with me. The rooms we’ve stayed in all had excellent AC, a working microwave and fridge, a small coffee maker, a tv and three lamps, the ice machine is on the edge of the parking lot and easily accessible to everyone.
