The Stone Gate Resort

That was an amazing stay! I was traveling solo and absolutely enjoyed my trip. First of all the room was spacious, super clean and the bed with pillows was super comfortable! The owner with his sons was very attentive and ready to help all the time. They truly care about their customers and you can feel that in small details. The beach is gorgeous, well maintained with a nice lounge area and comfortable sofas. Such a peaceful place to enjoy your favorite book while observing the beauty of the lake.The beach is huge, one of the biggest private beaches in the area! Everything was just stunning! I will definitely come back here again!

Our experience at Stone Gate Resort was amazing. We stayed for just under one week. From the moment we checked in, until the day we checked out, we were treated with the utmost care and kindness. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and very spacious, with a rustic decor that allowed you to relax and unwind right away. Everyone was so gracious, from the owner and his family, to each attendant. Samantha and Spencer went above and beyond expectations. The location along Lake George was stunning, and the amenities offered were everything needed and more; laundry room, exercise room, recreation room, reclining chairs at the beach, jet skis, playground, soccer field, cornhole; to many to name them all. Thank you Stone Gate. You truly know how to provide first class accommodations!

This was our second stay at Stone Gate Resort, as we came here last month for my birthday. It was every bit as wonderful as the first! We returned this time to enjoy the beauty of the fall leaves, and the resort could not have been in a more perfect setting to take it all in. The grounds are peaceful and well kept, and the views of the foliage by the lake were absolutely stunning. The staff was just as friendly and welcoming as before, and it really feels like they go the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable. Our accommodations were spotless and cozy, making it easy to relax after spending the day outside enjoying the crisp fall air. Very nice family oriented well-kept resort. We had a great time and wish they had more availability but were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a connecting room - one of which had a little kitchen which was very convenient especially since we were traveling with an 18 month old. The lakefront area is down a big hill that is easy enough to walk down and the staff is readily accessible to bring you back up to your room. The location is perfect because it is out of the busyness of the town but only a short ride for restaurants and shops. Great place. Highly recommend. We will be back!

If you are looking for a cozy place to stay that also has incredible views and the friendliest of staff - look no further. Stone Gate did not disappoint in the slightest, and fully exceeded my expectations. The view of Lake George here is magnificent, the cabin we stayed at was so cozy and had a fire place right out front, and whenever we needed assistance the staff was always responsive, accommodating, and friendly. They are kid friendly as well having beach access, soccer field, game room, and a heated pool. I cannot wait to come back here and enjoy it all over again. Thank you Stone Gate for making our trip so much more memorable!
