Windcrest Inn and Suites

Our experience was good. It was a good price. The place is older, so it had a cozy feeling. Our room was very clean. There is no phone in the room though, but we didn’t need to call them for anything thank goodness. Breakfast only on weekends so didn’t get to try it. Overall very nice.

Positive: The price was hard to beat, and the lady at the front desk was great and very friendly. Negative: The hotel is older and by thr pics I thought it was more like a bed and breakfast. It looks like an older motel 6 style building.

Motel is exactly what you need for an easy stopover. Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is small but fine, and the shower was well pressurized and hot. Breakfast great - especially considering that it's included in the price - with lots of fresh fruit. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed - we locked ourselves out after hours and they came down within minutes to let us back in. Can only assume that the bad reviews are from people that expect a 2* motel charging less than every other place in town to somehow be a 5* hotel - it's not, but it does everything it needs to do. Recommended.

Stayed one night there with a friend during the holiday season. First thing, we walk in the room and it is very outdated. It needs a major remodel. There was shampoo but no conditioner, an ironing board but no iron, and no blow dryer. Also, there was only one packet of sugar for the coffee. The shower curtain smelled like mildew so it was hard to even use the restroom because it stunk so bad. The bath tub/shower was disgusting. We both decided to wait until we got home to take a shower, that’s how bad it was. The a/c blew air but it never got cold, we ended up opening the window to get it cool enough to sleep. There was no phone so we couldn’t even call the office if we needed something, we had to walk down there. The one and only vending machine didn’t work. We had to look forever to find

My stay was great, they offer breakfast on the weekends and the food is so yummy. The only down side we had was the room next to us had a family of 5 and kept slamming the doors throughout the night so it kept my kiddo up. But otherwise front desk was nice and the room was clean and taken care.
