Willow Lodge Extended Stay - Willoughby - Cleveland

They lied on me. Put me on the do not rent list because I “trashed” the room. LIE! I swept a pile of trash next to to trash can because I didn’t have a dust pan. The sink was stopped up upon my arrival. Then again, this mean I trashed the room. Then they scamming people at the door. It says pet friendly with no charge on booking.com but when you get there, it’s a sign that says $25 a night for pet. I called booking and they said “THE HOTEL ISN’T SUPPOSED TO BE CHARGING PET FEES WHEN THEIR WEBSITE SAYS THIS, GET THE RECEIPT OF THE PET CHARGES AND WE WILL REFUND YOU”…. They are full of it! Be aware you might be added on a list if you sweep a pile of trash next to the trash can…. Don’t they have to sweep the floor when you check out anyway??!?!?!! Friendly and very helpful staff willing to help any questions or concerns. The rooms were spacious and very clean with a modern style to them they also had a hot tub,mini fridge and microwave and a laundry room by the office. The vending machines were always fully stocked. With the freeway close it just a 20minute drive to downtown Cleveland with stores and restaurants close to the hotel. |I highly recommend reserving yourself a stay. It was easy to unwind and relax with at a hotel without overcharging you. ||SLM

Positive: Nothing! Had a four night stay, left after one night. Negative: Pool advertised, but empty, mgr said it had not used since Covid, mold in the room. Bathtub in room drained on the carpet, bed appeared to be freshly made, but black hair on the sheets. Took pictures. Money still not refunded

Well the shower curtain was dangling down so bad that it wouldn't stay shut. So keeping water inside shower was impossible. Then the toilet seat basically completely deteriorated and fell apart. You can tell that every repair that's ever been done at the place was a quick repair not done properly, but inexpensively. The room itself was cheap enough. However after the bathroom attacked me I decided I had enough. So the same day I got room 239 I left at about 9pm to complete the next leg of my trip. I didn't even ask for a refund. Though I definitely deserved one. I just wanted to leave this place in the rear view mirror where it belongs. Only good thing I can say is at least I got a refund. DONT stay here. First room was nasty, stank, bedding not cleaned, shower reeked of urine so we asked for another room, just for that room to have a ROACH! I was absolutely disgusted. Never Again!
