Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Mentor/ Willoughby

Be careful if you stay here! Do not unpack and keep as much as you can in the car. I never write bad reviews either (see my others) but this place is a health hazard. I had the worst experience here I have ever had in a hotel (Room 132) and I have stayed in other Red Roof Inns frequently with no problem like this. I see this reported in other reviews here too. I woke up covered in bites or small welts from what looked a lot like bed bug bites (I won't share the really bad pics - not pretty). I immediately showered and packed up and had to get back on the road. I informed the front desk and said I would email them pictures. It did not seem like a surprise to them. When I did get a hold of them they blamed me and said it was probably ticks(?) or fleas that I brought from somewhere else.The

Positive: It’s closeness to the Kirtland temple. Negative: It was extremely old and run down. It served its purpose for the night. But wouldn’t recommend if you want to stay for any amount of time or have little ones that climb on the floor.

This is the best extended stay hotel I have found over the years in this area. This time I had a deluxe room---spacious, with fridge , hairdryer, safe etc. I enjoyed the upgrade. Great mattress, good sleep, room clean and well serviced. Great location-just off the Freeway and near Mentor Mall. I have stayed here many times over the years and never been disappointed. Great place to stay

Rooms are affordable but that comes with a reason. Room was passable as far as cleanliness. With exception of comforters, looked like had stains but used anyways. No way to know when last time they were changed. And soap and other amenities you expected with room was not restocked. Location was great for us for our business we had. A cheap place to lay your head. That's the best I can say.

Was perfect for our quick night stay on our road trip. Very cleanly, pleasant staff, dog friendly and easy to park right in front of your room! Felt very safe and had a sheetz gas and food nearby as well as other options.
