My husband and I stayed in the Tyler Guesthouse for 2 nights. Shortly after arrival, I went to go rinse off and noticed that not only were there 4 hairs still stuck to the shower walls, but the body wash seemed to be 90% water. The duvet was also just encased in 2 flat sheets, which I found to be odd. The next morning (my birthday), I really wanted breakfast in bed. Tried to order through the "convenient" QR code and a message appeared that said the breakfast menu wasn't available until the following day. Mind you, this was 8am. Finally, my husband called the front desk and was connected to the restaurant, where an employee let him know it was available but they were working out of another kitchen. Communication about that when we checked in would have been nice. My food (biscuits and

Staying on property @ Williamsburg is wonderful. Between events up and down the Duke of Gloucester St, you can duck into your hotel to warm up (winter time) or grab some food. We stayed here 8 years ago (pre Marriott) in the older southern guesthouse section with wooden walls and floors. Charming. This time we were in Nicholas, one of 2 northern buildings and close to parking. The furniture is a mis-mash of styles. The older colonial pieces were badly scratched (which could easily be re-stained) but other pieces were total out of time and character. "Autograph" should be celebrating its place and heritage. The artwork looked like leftovers from a Marriott done in "agreeable grey." There is no shortage of colonial imagery, maps and reproduction artifacts. So where are they.|The great par

We have been coming to Colonial Williamsburg for decades and have stayed in every type room that The Lodge offers-- All are FABULOUS. The aesthetic is old-school, elegant, timeless classic-- as it always has been. The public spaces are comfortable, spacious and beautiful. All the rooms are spacious and well appointed, spotlessly clean with comfy beds-- and all are quiet. The location cannot be beat, the on-site restaurants serve excellent food and are reasonably priced and the staff are gracious, professional and kind. our family looks forward to staying at The Lodge every chance we get!

We had a wonderful stay at the Williamsburg Lodge, located right in Colonial Williamsburg. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly situated—close to everything while still feeling relaxing and peaceful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere blended historic charm with modern comfort. We were especially impressed by the honesty and professionalism of the staff. We accidentally left about $200 in cash in a very obvious place in our room, and housekeeping did not touch a thing. That level of integrity truly stood out and meant a lot to us. The staff overall was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making everything feel seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in the center of everything with a free bus ride to the entire Colonial Williamsburg area. Negative: Ice machines were all broken, but the staff and bar tender supplied us with ice. Our room was next to the electrical room so there was a loud noise every 20 minutes or so, but we got used to it. The hotel can use a fresh coat of paint.
