Wilderness RV Resort

We visited my brother at the resort where he parked his RV. Beautiful place, clean and just the right amount of shade. I can't rate rooms or service as that isn't applicable. Close to Silver Springs and lots of restaurants.

Don't let the front deceive you. Once you get past the gate and the huge tress at the entrance there really aren't any more trees. No shade at all. Super tight street and sights. No Cable, no picnic table, no fire ring. The pool was green and horrible. Not heated as stated. Apparently that happens frequently. All lounge chairs broken. Bathrooms have no working locks and no hot water. Super dated but clean. We went into the restaurant with our kids and they looked at is as we had 5 heads! People were super rude. Staff was very friendly however. No boat rentals as advertised.

Great whoopie pies and fudge. They have lots of old style candies.

It's a little bit of New York Adirondack's in central Florida. The staff is courteous and always helpful.

My wife and I stayed here for two months, February through April. We didn't get to enjoy the Park as we had hoped due to the death of a family. Next year we're looking to return, we love the areas of Silver Springs, FL and Ocala, FL.
