Wicker Guesthouse

I have been going to Key West for thirty years and this is hands down the worst hotel I have stayed at. My wife and I booked a small queen room at $359/night. The first room they put us in was ridiculous. Literally an attic. There was a 2ft strip down the middle that we could stand upright in and to either side the ceiling slanted down. We couldn’t even sit up straight on the couch. After complaining we were moved to a better room the next day but the AC didn’t work in that one. Our room was several degrees warmer than the outside all day and night and humid. Lightbulbs missing, large gaps around doors, broken ac. Property maintenance looks like it is being done by a 12 year old.

What an eclectic, quirky, fun place to stay! The gals in the front office are so sweet! Great location - right on Duval. Nice pool & breakfast. Parking is a little tough, but they tell you where to go! Rooms are unique and all different. Beds are comfortable. We would stay again!

Positive: Nice, typical "Key West type" accommodations. The property was a sprawling jigsaw puzzle, but in a way that made you find something new every day depending on your walk around the grounds. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large enough for our needs. Negative: The breakfast was a bit lacking as compared to other Key West properties we have stayed at. But with that said, the breakfast was not a factor in us staying here.

We booked four rooms and had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The rooms were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return!

We made a quick last minute girls trip to the Keys. Wicker House was able to accommodate us with a good price, great service and a clean room. We were able to leave our bags at the office before check-in and after check-out. I would definitely stay at Wicker house next time.
