Whispering Winds Resort

All I can say is WOW! Ron, Margaret and Jeremy the owners knock it out of the park with their superb hospitality. From the very second you pull into the resort you are welcomed as family. I have been to a lot of resorts but none like theirs. All of the cabins are very well kept, providing all necessary amenities needed. If you love fishing this is the place to be, Jeremy and Ron provide exceptional knowledge of where the fish are biting at all times. Whether you cast off the dock, utilize one of their rental boats, or have your own you can be assured that you will never not catch fish. If you are looking for an expert guided experience fishing for Musky Jeremy is the man. His dedication to the sport makes him truly one of a kind. His dedication to conservation of the Musky species

Had a great time at Whispering Winds Resort, although the winds were a little louder than a whisper 😉! Friendly and attentive. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We brought our own boat, so I can't comment on their equipment, but it looked good from the dock. Don't judge a book by its cover. They're updating cabins and just putting finishing touches on a wheelchair accessible cabin. Jeremy cleaned all our fish. He also set out a second anchor for us to use. A nice place; just what I was looking for. Planning a return trip in the fall. Thx again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Came with my wife and 16 year old son. We rented a two bedroom cabin that had everything that we needed it was very clean and tidy. Ron immediately came over to welcome us and show us around. We also rented a boat that was great also and worked very well. Really loved that it had advanced fish finder with topographical maps of the lake bottom to find good spots to fish for walleye. Jeremy took me and my son out till 2 in the morning Musky fishing, thanks so much Jeremy, that was awesome! Jeremy cleaned every fish we caught and helped to show us spots to try. Thank you so much everyone, this was even more than we expected! We will be back, can't wait!!

Absolutely amazing week at Whispering Winds Resort!! Back in March I was planning a family vacation for multiple families in one cabin. My family and I met Ron and Jeremy at the Musky Expo while talking with them at their booth- they had a lot to offer, down to earth guys and shared the same passion as myself. We locked the deal for July! We arrived, Ron instantly ready to get mine and my brother-in-law's boat in the water no hesitation, very welcoming! Beautiful view, clean, and nice and quiet!! Jeremy with all his fishing advice and spots to try- A LOT of knowledge! When we weren't busy on the lake all the kids stayed busy on kayaks provided by the resort and catching fish on the docks! Made it out one night with Jeremy and my son- musky fishing, it was a great time! I've had experience

Love this place! Run by a great family that prides themselves on going above and beyond! Cabins are clean and well kept. Been coming to vermillion for 30 plus year and have stayed at many different resorts, this is by far the my favorite! We caught lots of fish and never touched a knife as Jeremy cleans all of them for all his guest! His pride and passion is amazing! He even took time to take my son out fishing to get him a muskie as he never has caught one. Jeremy also hosts wounded warrior veteran trips. Before day 2 we re-booked for next year! Seriously a great resort!
