Westwick Motel & Campground

As a single mom being charged 600 for a bare room for me and my child. No bed or anything literally just bare floors the size of a small child's room. Then all the hoops to get into a room and being charged 10$ for application for a MOTEL (as its registered) is absolutely insane. I see why sioux falls is a SENIOR CITIZEN town.

Their fb/website states that they have laundry and showers available for rv people but when we arrived and already paid for the month we were informed it was permanently shut down. They need to remove that from their description asap. Also you may as well get a po box too because receiving you mail/packages is next to impossible or they get picked up by the motel residents before anyone can get to it. So go ahead and factor in the cost for a planet fitness membership or $17 a pop to go to the loves for a shower. My rv hotwater tank busted otw here so we were banking on using the "offered" facilities here until we can get it replaced but no go... it's not worth the 675mth to park here and not have any of the advertised "amenities" had I been aware before getting here id have got a spot dow

The staff..if you can find them are kind. Run down...needs a lot of work. Just a roof over your head and accepts dogs - which most of these monthly hotels don't. They are raising the rent....a good place to transition and " get back on your feet..." The folks that live here are kind as well. No bugs

VERY nice staff! Welcomes dog and people who are down on their luck. We really appreciate that. Nice, soft bed, very clean linens. Has a BATHTUB! YES! It's an old motor court, possibly from the '50s, but I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Inside, the rooms are updated and clean. Thanks, Westwick! (The name we reserved under is Kenneth Story, my husband) I would definitely recommend them! ************UPDATE********** Moving out today, I got an apartment. Unfortunately, my husband suddenly passed away from cancer. The staff here has been nothing but wonderful. Heather (the manager) is kind, sympathetic and all round great. I would come stay again anytime. In fact, I don't want to leave!!!!! Thank you for your kindness.

the streets around this area are in need of some pot ehole filling and the construction around it is almost rediculous
